When Avery had gone sailing with her car off of the side of the road, she had simply thought to herself: this isn't supposed to happen. Avery was supposed to be starting her new life. She was supposed to be at her dad's house, 1,437.7 kilometers up north, where there would be no more Jane, no more Logan, and there certainly would be no more Connor. She had it all planned out, from the countless hours spent on figuring out directions, to the exact moment that she would throw her phone out of the car window. But absolutely nothing had gone to plan; not one single thing in the past eleven months leading up to that very moment.

Indigo Lyden never really had that many friends, or people to talk to, or just anyone in general. Except for her boisterous and obnoxious next door neighbour, Logan Gray, the super hot mysterious bad boy who rides motorbikes, has sex every other night, wears bruised knuckles once a week, smokes cigarettes, drinks liquor, and gets invited to practically every party in town. So under those circumstances you could say that Indigo and Logan don't get along, other than his daily ritual when he climbs through her bedroom window and wakes her up in the middle of the night to ask for condoms, which she definitely does NOT have, and a good night kiss, just to make her blush. "No need to deny your feelings for me, Indie," He always teases when she pushes him away, and Indigo really wishes she didn't know what he was talking about. •• Cover by the fantastic afteryears-
