I was walking to my locker when I heard someone calling for somebody. "Hey! Little cutie!" They called. I kept waking, since no one noticed me and I doubted that it would've started then. It was a hallway full of cute girls, all of them much cuter than me, so why would they be calling for me? They whistled. "Shortie with the ponytail!" They called, their voice now closer to me. I still kept walking to my locker since there were still several other girls, who were taller than me but still relatively short, wearing ponytails. I felt a light tap on my shoulder once I got to my locker. I turned around and my breath caught in my throat at who was talking to me. Maximus King. The hottest guy in all of Hillside High. With his jet black hair that was always messy but still looked amazing, his steel grey eyes that all the girls talked about, his sharp jawline that could cut someone, his tall, six-foot five inches form that towered over me, and his strong form that could easily take out pretty much all of the guys in school, he was what every girl looked for. He had a bit of a bad reputation, well, a lot of a bad reputation, but most girls didn't care about that. I cared, and was very afraid of him and all of his friends except for Xander. In fact, if he had a reputation of sleeping around, I think I would've avoided him like the plague. Good thing he only flirted with girls and never slept, kissed, or touched them. "Hey, shortie, I was talking to you," he said with his deep voice. I cleared my throat after a few seconds of me gaping at him. "S-sorry. I-I didn't k-know," I squeaked. He chuckled. "I even said 'shortie with the ponytail!' yet you still didn't know." I gulped. "That's cute," he said. Amethyst Stone, a short, four-foot eleven inches girl that Maximus King has taken an interest to. When? You'll find out. Why? He could tell you, but don't get your hopes up. Will it work out? Read if you really want to know. 12/21/18- 8/8/19- 12/27/20

"I'm fine," I state rather bluntly. "You don't look fine." "Then stop looking." He chuckles, and damn does he. His voice is dessert for the ears, his face is candy for the eyes. If I wasn't so pissed off I might've swooned over him. "How can I? When an angel is so close to me," He smirks. I fully turn myself towards him this time. "Were you there? That night?" I have to know before I think about him in the light any longer. "No." He doesn't even hesitate, "But my father was," "If I may ask, what in the hell prompted him to take my brother from a car accident?" He plasters on a tight-lipped grin, a small tick in his chin. "That's the thing, Hermosa, that night was everything but an accident." [COMPLETED] "That wasn't very nice, was it princess?" He asked in a husky voice and I stuttered, trying to form words but failing. His lips leaned in and started to trail softly down my neck. I tried to hold in my moan as the light feeling of his lips in my skin continued until he pulled back abruptly. "Sorry princess. Not today." He finished before walking out of the room, leaving me in a daze. Madison Thompson isn't your typical 18-year-old. She attends Sea City High School in Florida and her temper and attitude always gets the better of her. But her strange encounter with school badboy and star quarterback, Noah Johnson, who has a bad past, puts her on edge as well as her little secret is slowly rising from the ashes. Seems like the typical storyline...right? She's falling, in more ways that one, and doesn't realise it, but will Noah help her see there's more to her life than what she makes it out to be?
