So, when she opens her Hogwarts letter three weeks before the term starts and sees a small blue badge fall out, she freezes. Being a prefect was not part of her plan, reading that all prefects would be staying in a special common room was not part of her plan, and knowing that every day she'd have to see a marauder was NOT part of her plan.
