"I never asked for friendship, yet you gave it to me." An introvert who likes to go outdoors. An extrovert who's friends with one person at a time. Summer's daytime lasts longer than the night, inviting everyone out to play. Sabito, a child who's lived through tragedy and neglect for his seven years of life, enjoys spending time in the playground built within his apartment complex. An orphaned child who lives with an aunt who can't be bothered to take care of him. Despite having a lazy aunt who can do nothing but suck the life out of a lit cigarette, Sabito's independence is greater than the typical seven-year-old child. Thanks to his father's teachings before that disaster, he can scrape by each day --alone. Unable to let go of the past and his deceased parents, Sabito becomes absorbed into his own mind, survivors guilt weighing down his small shoulders. As a prisoner of his own thoughts, he sits on the swings and tries to forget about the responsibilities he faces when the clock reads 'home time'. Squeals and shouts from other children make his hands move to his ears, but he can't block out the happiness in the air. Happiness comes looking for him. Valerie, the polar opposite of Sabito's reserved, sophisticated demeanour, comes along to unlock the naive side of a matured brain. As she begins to show him the world in colour, a friendship develops between the two. Best friends forever are what they say. Keyword: Forever. Content: Mentions of death/suicide
