Spock is in the main meeting area of the ship but he has not seen Kirk at all. What happens when Spock finds out that Kirk is sick?

The Enterprise decided to have a party and kirk knew how much his crew needed to let loose. Spock on the other and wants to know why parties are fun, kirk responds by showing him the true definition of fun at a party.

Captain Spock, following his death in the alternate timeline he entered after being lost in a black hole while trying to save the Romulan home world, wakes up in a strange world called Nexus. He learns that his captain had been here, and sets off to find him.

I thought Star Trek was just supposed to be a TV show. One near and dear to my heart, yes, but still only entertainment brought to live by dedicated actors and TV/Film-makers. So, tell me then, how is it that Captain Kirk and Spock are sitting on my couch, and the U.S.S. Enterprise is in my yard?
