Hashi High, a school right outside Shibuya in Tokyo, is gathering a class of students from around Japan for a cultural exchange program. Minato Arisato and S.E.E.S., Yu Narukami and the Investigation Team, and Akira Kurusu and the Phantom Thieves are all joining the exchange. But people have been acting weird. There are sightings of these figures cloaked in black and white, performing dangerous crimes under the cover of night. The teens in the program start getting odd visions of a black and white realm, one where they can see people turning into monstrous Shadows. And when Yosuke accidentally opens a portal to this strange realm, the group realizes that they got a little more than they bargained for as part of the exchange.... The leader of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, Joker, AKA, Ren Amamiya, is not in a good mood. It's been a year after the events that happened in Persona 5, and trouble has struck. Ren's parents have been arguing, and now they are getting a divorce. To find his own peace, Ren decides to return to Cafe Leblanc in Yongen-Jaya. But things seem to get worse, as he gets in arguments and finally decides to be a shut-in. The Phantom Thieves try to reach out to him, but nothing seems to be able to get to Ren. With a little bit of help, the group of teens manage to access the Metaverse that has reformed once again. And to their surprise, they discover a palace. A palace who the ruler is none other than Ren Amamiya himself. I don't own Persona 5 or any of its characters. Artwork displayed is not mine unless otherwise stated. (In this A.U, the events of Persona 5 Strikers/Scramble never occured. This is because I started writing this before it was even released, and I don't want to go back and rewrite this whole story. I spend time with them, befriend them, laugh and joke with them, and even strategize with them as we dodge in and out of Palaces, taking hearts where we please. But I never lose sight of the real reason why I'm using them. We get closer and closer, and Ren Amamiya, the leader of the group, peaks my interest. We finally become friends, and suddenly, something changes. I must choose what side to stand on, and whether or not using the Joker and his friends is still my destiny.
