After the events of 2038, freedom for all androids was granted. The world went through a dramatic shift, where androids and humans became accepted on even playing fields. However, centuries passed, and humanity realized the overwhelming power of the androids, that threatened their own. Humans tried to take back their power, but it was far too late. The strongest of the androids stole control from humanity piece by piece, until the humans had been reduced to being slaves for the machines. With androids being in power, the world was thrust into a new era, the era of the android. In the year 2596, Detroit, now known as Jericho, has become ruled over by androids. The highest androids are ones who have lived for centuries, some rumored from even the time of the conquering. When you get captured by the rulers of the androids, you are thrust into a world so far and distant from your own. Later, you descend into the basement of the building, and find remnants of a whole other world, including a being long forgotten, left in the recesses of time. --- Female pronouns used!! His job with the Detroit Police Department had been forfeit after the android revolution, and he now works as a part-time associate at some smoke shop downtown. As if his life couldn't have gotten any worse, he now suddenly has to take on the challenge of taking care of a girl with a tragic backstory filled with betrayal and domestic violence. Who knows? Maybe she'll be the one to finally change his life for the better.

Pretty much inspired by a tumblr prompt. Connor and Markus see really beautiful landscapes together in their dreams, and Connor goes to an art gallery to see they're all painted on the canvases there. Except the artist is anonymous.
