Helen Newman had beaten hundreds of other candidates, and signed dozens of NDAs for the chance to work here. Now, finally, she takes her first step into the basement of the government building. In her wildest dreams, she never thought she would be assigned to help a merman overcome his fear of deep water. However, she sees a much bigger plot at work enacted by his keepers, one that goes far beyond just the surface.

These poems were written to inspire, motivate, and uplift others in their everyday lives. They are heavility inspired by the 'The Tao Te Ching' as well as other spiritual teachers like 'Eckhart Tolle' and 'Mooji'. I was inspired to write poems that invoke the same feeling. Welcome to the Flexible Book Exchange, a club for writers and readers looking to get feedback on their work. Unlike the traditional structure of a regular book club, you are in charge of your book club experience. You choose the books you read, how many chapters to exchange, and how many assignments you complete that month by sending out and accepting requests to/from users in the club.
