Clémence is a french lady, the younger sister of Gisla, ruler over her own estate. After losing her husband to the Vikings so many years ago she is dead set on hating them. Until a son of Ragnar visits Duke Rollo, asking for the French support in the fight against Lagertha. Clémence is obligated to support her sister and duke Rollo and for that, she joins him to Kattegat. And there she meets with those famous sons of Ragnar Lothbrok.

This is a take on Vikings the show. Queen Isabella Ambrosio is left alone in defense against others whom want the throne for themselves. Her religion is between two things along with her heart. Reader meets Ivar at the gym and the attraction is instant. Years and many beautiful pictures later, their hearts are broken and Ivar is sleeping alone. So how did they get here? Ivar is a modern take on Vikings!Ivar, with Alex's photography obsession tossed in for good measure. I asked myself what Ivar might have been like in a modern setting with treatment for his disability (I'm taking a stab with spina bifida because it's something I can write with a little bit of experience, not because it's documented that he had it), and this character is what happened.
