Trimberly storyline after defeat of rita

It's been a year since the defeat of Rita, and Kimberly and Trini have known each other for a while, growing closer together as teammates. But when a new, vicious threat puts the lives of the rangers at risk, Trini and Kimberly must put their relationship to the test. Will they emerge victorious once again?

Trini had feelings for Kim before they were best friends. It was more like a crush but that didn't last long. In the present, Zach, Billy, and Jason, Trini's new group of friends together with Kim, ships her with Kim. They say there's something between them that can't be normal.
