Nightmare already has a hard life in the village. from all the bullying, to things being thrown at him, to people trying to steal the golden apples from the tree that holds their mothers spirit. Dream on the other hand has mostly been ignorant of the problems going on with his brother and the village. Though one day after some villagers attempte to steal the golden apples once again. Something changed and the two brothers soon find themselves in a new unknown world with only each other and the clothes on their backs. (The cover is only a temporary until the actual cover is done. Will change once the actual cover image is done.)

There was a rumored cult that has been given offerings to a demon to not unleash hell on their town for many years, all of them so far have either made the Demon either angry or annoyed. But this year, a young kid, who has been so terribly treated by all but family gave the only thing they have besides their clothes, a scarf gifted by his mother, and a pillow that's always been his comfort item since forever. Ever since Error has given his precious items as an offering to the eldritch abomination, his life has gradually began to change, for the better or for the worse, Error couldn't tell. All he cares about, is that he's gained a Guardian. Guaranteed, he looks like a goopy tar stained Cthulu, but he was happy anyways, for they were a nice Guardian despite their looks! This is based off another fic I found. Where the villagers decide to SELL Dream to make money from his positivity. It only has 4 chapters at the moment, so please give that a read first. I will be picking up from the fourth chapter, (with a tiny divergence). (Original author: @sharpmarble76) Anyway, I had a sudden idea while reading the 4th chapter. How could I tie this into the whole multiverse drama of goopy Nightmare causing havoc? And this was the result. (I don't usually publish on Wattpad, I'm pretty much always on A03. ever sense Error can remember, hes dedicated his life to giving his dying brother, Geno, a gift. the gift of a good, strong brother. with Geno's life slowly draining from him, Error focuses day and night on trying to do everything for his incurable brother. even if it meant doing absolutely nothing for himself. But one day, a group of doctors discover a cure for this illness that has left Geno distraught, and his illness is cured. finally able to go out and do things, Geno desides to go continue his life to the best of his abilities. leaving Error behind. Error sees no point in life anymore. his whole purpose was to protect his brother. was to be strong. but how could he be strong when he was useless. pathetic. a waste of space. a nobody. or so the voices in his head told him so, he goes to end it all, wishing that he could just start all over.. he walks throughout the park, reminiscing of a better life as he walks back to his apartment. Only to be met with flames and ashes as he comes home to watch his new apartment that he moved into, burned to the ground. panic rushes through him as the realization that he cant end his life anymore, only to come across a realization. everyone thinks hes dead.. should he keep it that way..? Error uses this opportunity to leave his city, taking all his money and using it to leave his home-town, and go to the large city of Pentral. his new life begins as he meets new faces for the first time. but his family isnt so sure.. they never found Errors burned up clothing in his apartment when they put out the fire. nor did they find his phone, or his dust. His bank acount is emptied and people think they saw Error leave the building. Geno has a strong feeling his brother is alive. and he wants to prove to Error that he doesnt have to run anymore. to prove that Error is strong. to prove that Error is still ALIVE. In the end, all he knew was Dreams and Darkness. What was real and reality, then everything shattered and a confused tiny child is left behind where an adult was... Dream the Real Dream took his first true Breath, and the multiverse has realize that the one they knew as Dream was a parasite.

When Destiny comes to her with a plan to put them in a safe place, she inmediatly agrees. Meanwhile, in another Multiverse, other Void God makes a deal with the ruler of Hallownest. The Pale King would give him back ALL of his children and then he would help him against the Infection caused by the Moth godness. So he is very confused (and a bit mad) when months later he can feel six more children enter to Hallownest without an explication.
