With Percy's absence, Kronos becomes the monster he was before, and Olympus are struggling to gain momentum as he thwarts their every plan. Tartarus is gone, killed by Nico. While Percy has returned Kronos' soul to the Titan, it's most certainly not over yet. The gods aren't willing to allow the Titans to regain themselves, and with Kronos as a bargaining chip the Titans aren't willing to risk anything. But as Percy soon realises, Tartarus' plan to kill all other Primordials wasn't a success.

(WARNING: This story takes place after the Blood of Olympus, and before the Trials of Apollo, though doesn't follow the story line if you have read the Trials of Apollo. He has survived the war with Gaea, and had decided to spend a few weeks away from Camp Half-Blood, since Annabeth is going on a trip to California with her father and step-family. Percy planned to have a nice, quiet few weeks. Of course, he was very, very wrong. When Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D, sees Percy's file, labeling him a possible terrorist, as well as 'very powerful', Fury takes interest in him. He sends the Avengers to capture the boy, and bring him back to the tower for interrogation. What happens when yet another war breaks out? Who's in it? Who will win? Read and find out.

Percy ends up being a curious human being and ends up walking out of Tartarus, right into his mom's apartment. He's confused and without his memories. He gets a fresh start.
