Modern Au Bending exists and Aang is the avatar Aang and Katara have known each other all their lives and were the best of friends. Aang always had a crush on her since before he knew what love even was. They had a group of friends that consisted of 2 other guys and 2 other girls, Sokka, Zuko, Toph, and Suki. While Aang liked Katara, she liked someone one that can bend fire.
