When Elise van der Berg joins Liverpool as their new physiotherapist, no one expects her unconventional methods to change the team forever. With her unique three-phase approach - building deep trust, targeted exercises and versatile training, she turns players into complete athletes. But when she meets the calm, imposing, Virgil van Dijk, professional boundaries begin to blur. As Liverpool chases the Premier League title and the Netherlands national team rises under her influence, Elise becomes the lucky charm no one saw coming. Virgil Van Dijk has always been a very self assured man. One whose confidence entered the room before he even stepped foot in it. It's not that he necessarily thought lowly of everyone around him, he mostly wasn't fazed by the majority of his peers. Maybe it was a preventive meassure, something he did naturally to avoid future unwanted occurances. To the press and the outside world watching his life from afar, he seemed arrogant. The media called him untouchable, conceited - the Dutch defender was cocky and far too self satisfied for his own good. In all honesty - Virgil was simply hard to impress, his circle was carefully chosen throughout his life and remained small. Once he picks you, you're stuck with him. That's why he couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that he was so fazed by her.
