[Elle/Noah, post-KB3] This story starts off right after the carnival scene at the end of the Kissing Booth 3 movie, before the motorcycle ride. It's a gap-filler and post-canon continuation and will hopefully provide a bit more closure if you, like me, found the way KB3 ended a bit unfinished. This story is Elle/Noah-centric and will enter "mature" territory at some point. I'm basing the story off of the movies, as I have not read the books by Beth Reekles. All characters as well as all referenced plot lines and dialogue belong to their creator Beth Reekles and to Netflix.

The distance took its toll with Noah in Harvard and Elle back home and their own insecurities drove the wedge between them even further. They had both made changes in the past 6 months, it's up to them to decide if the changes would take each other away from each other forever, or if their relationship could be fixed. My take on the Kissing Booth 2 -- some details are taken from the book but the characters are all from the movie. All character rights and existing plot lines belong to Beth Reekles and Netflix. This story starts from the night of Elle getting stood up by Tuppen and his confession as to why he did what he did and what follows after Elle yells at Noah! I have always wanted Noah to be a slightly more introspective character and not a full bad boy as he is shown in the first movie. Even though I loved every bit of both The Kissing Booth films, I couldn't help think of other ways Elle and Noah get together, fighting odds and resisting their feelings before finally giving in. And give Elle more credit and show her slightly more mature and sensitive in a good light. The characters belong to the amazing Beth Reekles but the story is mine along with the few characters that I've created as part of this story-line. Elle Evans has always loved music. It manifested in the many playlists she made for the people she loved most in her life of songs that reminded her of them. Specifically one made for her first real love, Noah Flynn. What happens when, unbeknownst to her, following their breakup, he never unfollowed said playlist? Movie universe, told through the songs and the situations that inspired them on that playlist beginning during the first movie and beyond the end of the third.

Elle and Noah decide to have a long-distance relationship, but what does that first year allow for that relationship? I wrote this story wondering what the sequel to "The Kissing Booth" should be, I mixed elements I read in the book and things we saw in the original Netflix movie. The story is told by Elle and Noah, so I hope you enjoy it! :) I'm doing the English translation and so more people will have access, including author Beth Reeckles.
