Sonic begins to have nightmares and often uses his lover Shadow, as a pillow to cry on. One morning after the nightmares had started, the village was burnt down. It took the entire population of the village to replace everything. Every now and again Sonic would feel like someone is watching him. One day Tails and Sonic go on a plane ride but it crashes in Whisper Forest. Rumors say that if you go into that forest, and won't come back out alive. Tails makes it out of the forest, but Sonic didn't. Everyone sent out into that forest to look for him. One by one they all die. All except for Shadow.

As the mane 6 explore the everfree forest, they suddenly come across a portal that sucks them all into another universe. That universe is none other than the Sonic Boom universe. They meet when Sonic was having a side kick audition where they first meet Twilight and Rainbow Dash and they compete in it. But later on they decided to recruit them all and started to hang out with one another. Will there ever be a way back to Equestria or will love let them stay in this universe.
