It all started with a trip. Sherlock had been acting weird, and everyone thought he was just stressed, so he and John go on a trip to Fiji. Yet, what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation from the stresses of detective work only opened the door for much more stress and confusion when John begins to have strange feelings around his colleague, Sherlock Holmes. And Sherlock is still acting strange.

Christmas was coming and he was still struggling for money as most of it was now the property of his ex-wife. It didn't help that Anderson had been mocking him all week by persistently playing "Sweet Caroline" on his old cassette player every morning. The only thing Greg Lestrade had to look forward to was the "Dinner party" he had been invited to by a Mr Sherlock Holmes. It was undoubtedly going to be awful but it was still something to look forward to. Tired and fed up, Lestrade picked up his suitcase and left for his small, one room flat. Like a day of homicides was going to lighten his mood.....

Once the rings have been exchanged and the vows have been said, Sherlock and John are ready to settle down and get their fill of the domestic bliss that so often comes with marriage. Unfortunately, nothing is ever that simple for them... and they know the honeymoon period can't last forever. They'd promised each other "for better or for worse", but John had no idea just how bad 'worse' could be.

John couldn't shake the feeling that something is wrong with Sherlock as John was battling with himself on his reoccurring thoughts of the detective, which he constantly shook off and seemed to think it was nothing. He's been acting strange towards the army doctor. But once John starts using his own methods of deductions, what he finds of Sherlock; and himself, will leave him shocked. But strangely relieved.
