"You're going to die." She whispered. Dumbledore chuckled awkwardly, patting the eleven year old reassuringly, "I'm one hundred and fifty one, that's a little inevitable I'm afraid, my dear." The first year shook her head softly, a little frustration creeping into her expression, "you're going to die in eight years. Professor Snape's going to spell you off the astronomy tower, sir." Delphi Lovegood is a puzzle wrapped in a mystery, with a side serving of Crumple-Horned Snorkack. Is it any surprise the Weasley twins can't keep their eyes off her? But why is she so reluctant to look back? What does she see?

Melissa Crawford thinks she's just a regular teenage girl. She goes to school. She has friends, boy problems, homework...you know, the typical teenage angst. But she couldn't be more wrong, for Melissa Crawford is not a mortal. Her adoptive mortal mother refused to give her up and hired a witch to erase the enchanting Faery child's memory, not realizing that things aren't that simple. You see, when she was a little girl, Melissa promised herself forever to her Leannan Sidhe (mate), a Fae Prince, and a promise to Fae is sacred. When the Fae Prince comes back to claim what's his, nothing will get in his way. "Mortals are so arrogant. So utterly narcissistic to think that they are the only intelligence in this world, to believe their realm is the only realm, their way is the only way. "Many of you believe us fairies only exist in little kids' fairy tales. We are so much more than that. We exist, living in the Realm just a blink away from yours. A few wrong turns in the park or the forest and you're there. We sometimes walk among you, and you're not even aware of it. Believe me, we exist. Across the globe, your kind calls us and our realm by different names...but as William Shakespeare once said- a rose by any other name..."

"Everything was impossible once-until someone went and did it." Camilla has spent most of her life tucked away at an old English boarding school, where dusty hallways, stern teachers, and a suspiciously cranky caretaker are all part of the charm. She thought she knew every secret the school had to offer-until now. First, a new American girl, Nina, arrives under mysterious circumstances. Second, Joy-Camilla's friend and fellow student-suddenly disappears without a trace. Third, Victor, the school's resident terror (and possibly part-time vampire), seems weirdly more obsessed with his creepy stuffed crow than usual. Camilla's half-convinced a wedding announcement is imminent. And fourth-the ancient rumors about the attic being haunted? Yeah... those are starting to feel less like stories and more like a giant flashing warning sign. When strange messages and hidden clues begin popping up around the school, Camilla is pulled into a secret group called the Sibunas, determined to uncover the truth. Together, they race against time to solve puzzles buried deep within the school's history, uncover long-lost secrets, and find out what really happened to Joy. But the deeper they dig, the more dangerous things become. The attic holds more than just whispers and dust-and some secrets are desperate to stay buried. Magic, mystery, and mayhem collide in a race that will change Camilla's life forever... assuming she survives long enough to see what's at the end of the trail. #1 in Throwback 15/02/2025 If you enjoyed this story, don't forget to check out the rest of the series. #1 in throwback - 24/02/2025 *Cover by SarahRCubitt13 *Disclaimer: I do not own House of Anubis. Unsteady (adjective): moving, changing, or not firmly fixed. A new school year has begun at Anubis House, and Camilla-Anne Rutter was foolish enough to think things might finally calm down. Spoiler alert: they don't. The Sibunas are back on the hunt, this time chasing after the real Mask of Anubis-a relic surrounded by ancient myths, deadly secrets, and more puzzles than Camilla cares to solve before breakfast. Meanwhile, Camilla is grappling with a different challenge altogether: learning what it truly means to be the Protector of Isis, a title that's a lot heavier-and a lot more dangerous-than she ever imagined. Of course, it wouldn't be Anubis House without the usual chaos swirling around them. A mysterious new boy arrives with secrets of his own. Jerome's scheming reaches impressive new heights. And, naturally, the housemates' relationships are falling apart (and back together) faster than anyone can keep track. Between ancient artifacts, secret societies, and endless drama, Camilla realizes "unsteady" doesn't even begin to cover it. This year, loyalties will be tested, hidden enemies will rise, and the walls of Anubis House may not keep them safe for much longer. Mystery, betrayal, and a little bit of madness are waiting just around the corner-and Camilla and the Sibunas will have to stick together if they want to survive it. This is the story about an author who gets hit by a car right before she can finish her bestselling book series. I woke up inside the world of one of the best selling fantasy book series "Deadly Crown." Intrigue, handsome heroes, adventure... sounds great, right? Just one problem: all the named characters except the main hero and villain die, are replaced and their replacements die. Being important in this story is a death sentence, so I plan to move to the middle of nowhere, and avoid the plot! It should be a fool proof plan, so why do the main characters keep dragging me into the story? I promise I'm not important enough to have a name, please leave me alone!
