Lomar of Grizzly Peak left his wife and daughter at home while he left to hunt, to hunt so that they may have food on their table, and a roof over their heads. Such is the way of their clan, and of life in the Icelands, but so it is. He spots a wolf on the rise of a hill ahead of him, and that is his que to go home, hoping the wolf will not follow, hoping the pack will not be called. His daughter and wife are waiting for him, and with them, warmth.

The One Who Sits The Shadow Throne shall not be in the shadow, but shall be the shadow. The shadow of Puria's holy light. The One who sits the shadow shall know the sorrow that the Light's people do not, and they will keep that sorrow at bay. The One Who Sits The Shadow Throne shall father no children, know no lover, hold no lands, shall hear no orders except that of the Light. Scath Dahkrin is a King of the Shadow Throne, and his only equal is the Queen who sits the Light. He is emotionless, or is he? He is as strong as iron, or is he? He is all that the Shadow embodies, or is he? Note: This is a first draft that I conjured up in a whim over the past few days.
