[ONGOING] "Life is but a dream and nothing comes to sleepers but a dream." -Charlie Wilson Although Goldcrest law prohibits soldiers from traveling through the eerie Oak Woods alone, twenty-one year old Faye West continually finds herself drawn to the great oak trees. Her disobedience could be the cause of her own death. "Why did you follow me here?" Faye spat. She spoke in a loud whisper. Although angry, she was purposeful in not waking the Dryads living inside oak trees. "This is beyond you Faye. You can't do this alone." Adan explained, stepping in closer. He spoke with pleading eyes. He wondered how he'd gotten to this point. How had he gone from pressing soft kisses against Faye's honey shoulder to receiving so much of her anger? Really, It was his own fault. "You don't know me. And don't pretend you care," Adan flinched in response. Faye turned on her heel to run, avoiding his eyes. She couldn't let him see the tears threatening to escape from her own eyes. There was no room for any unnecessary displays of emotion. In that moment though, Zuri's body froze. Her tree-bark skin began to crackle, breaking off in small sized chunks. She fell to the ground.

Just imagine 99.9% of the country sees only in black and white Now imagine being the illegal excess 0.1% that sees in color That's the life of Claire Dawson, a teen who follows every rule to stay out of trouble, except one. She never chose to see in color but fears what would happen to her if the government found out. Seth, however, is a different story. He was raised with a broken family. Once his mom became an abusive alcoholic, Seth was left to fend for himself and raise his younger brother. One of the only laws that Seth actually follows is color blindness. The two are forced to abandon everything in order to save the country from falling under the near to complete dictatorship. Not without challenges of course... and maybe even a romance. ••••• We're in trouble. A lot of trouble. "Seth. What do we do? Do we run?" "No. That's a good way to prove we are doing something completely illegal. Just play along." He whispers back as if he had done this a million times. ••••• Seth has his own book! It's called "Finding Clarity"! Colorless will be in Claire's perspective whereas the other is in Seth's. Otherwise, the book would be too long and I wouldn't be able to fit in everything.
