Imagine the second you're born, a consultant removes you from your mother's grasp and runs a battery of genetic and physiological tests on you. Thirty minutes later they give you a score out of one hundred which denotes your level of perfection. If your score is above eighty and you work hard to maintain that score you will have a charmed life; well fed, well-rewarded, spoiled. But fall below eighty and you're labelled Flawed, and life will not be so kind. Hannah is adopted by a Flawed family when her birth parents choose their social standing over their daughter and endures a life of struggle, hunger and service. One day Hannah is escorted to the regional government office and told that the Consultant who delivered her, who labelled her Flawed got it wrong! Now, she is being relocated back to her birth parents, to live as one of the Ninety-Five- all medically and legally judged as perfect. ~complete~ Charlotte is as sweet as a strawberry. She's the kind of person who will drop everything just to help you, just to put a smile on your face. She's as sweet as the sugar that constantly runs through her bloodstream, and as excitable as the rush that comes with it. And then there's Benjamin, who's as sour as a lemon. The last thing on this Godforsaken planet he wants to do is acquaint himself with her. While Charlotte is kind and caring, he's rude and vulgar, while she's friendly and innocent, he's crass and mean. So how in the hell is that going to turn out?

{A #PrideatWattpad Book Club Selection} A revised version of my unsuccessful entry to the @Wattpad One That Got Away anthology. VERY loosely inspired by the movie Legally Blonde but YA and gayer with way more Black people. After Yves' girlfriend Loren dumps her for nonbinary school genius Phoenix Belmont, she decides to prove she's just as smart as her replacement by running against Loren for student body president. But her plans to use her wits to win Loren back are foiled when Yves starts catching feelings for the person her ex left her for. All's fair in love and politics, until they come to high school. © 2020-present Idris Grey

Taylor Monroe always kept to herself. She genuinely enjoyed spending her weekends and weekdays alone, losing herself in the bundle of notebooks she'd spend hours filling with beautiful poems and thoughts no one else would understand but her. Sometimes, if she was feeling a little inspired, she'd sketch. Other times, she'd take photos on her film cam. But there was always one subject. Romee Carey. The girl that makes everyone's heads turn wherever she goes. The one of the golden hair and dazzling smile. The reason for Taylor's erratic heartbeats ever since Science class ten years ago. Not that Romee remembers. Or even bothers to acknowledge her existence. A/N: this is my first book some parts are kinda cringey im sorry but you're welcome to take a leap of faith

To everyone, Alyssa Woods is known as the friendly, pretty, and tenacious captain of the soccer team. But to her, she's shy, self-conscious, and helplessly gay. Well, a helplessly closeted gay. There are reasons that stop her from coming out, ones she repeats to herself daily, one of her favourites being 'I'm not ready.' The crush she has on Leah Bennett isn't going anywhere at this rate, but she's comfortable where she is; not out, not rejected. She isn't new to heartbreak though, her past scars a constant reminder of the fears that dissuade her from taking the leap. And these very fears are what shoves her further into the closet with each memory and each thought. Taking the risk is the last thing on her mind. But what's life without a little risk? After all, you have to risk rejection to be accepted, or else you just might risk not living life at all. {COMPLETED}
