February 5, 2015: Troye Sivan performed for a sold out show in Madison Square Garden. April 27, 2015: TRXYE goes triple platinum June 16, 2015: Troye Sivan is cut off from the YouTube community. In this prequel to the story "Their Selfless Little Boy," you get to hear the backstory of what really happened between Troye Sivan and the YouTube community after TRXYE came out- both sides of the story. Set from December 31, 2014 to Vidcon 2020, you'll find out what really happened the six years after TRXYE came out, up until Troye's encounter at Vidcon 2020, told in "Their Selfless Little Boy."

Vidcon is coming up and Tyler and Troye will both be attending along with all of their other YouTube friends! With all of the meetups, panels, and interviews scheduled there will hardly be any time for either boy to stop and think.... which is exactly what both of them are looking forward to. The not-so-busy months that have gone by since Playlist Live gave them too much time to think about their actions and "what-ifs" about that unfortunate night... Will Vidcon be the opportunity they need to sort things out? Or will they grow farther apart? ¤¤¤ This Troyler fanfiction will feature many different YouTubers and I plan on using more than just Tyler and Troye's POVs. What if you could hear them? The thoughts they deigned not reasonable enough to say out loud, the things not suitable for even a giggly teenage gossip conversation. Would it be a blessing or a curse? Troye, the unlucky teenager bestowed with this 'gift', thinks of it as a curse, with good reason. Do you know how hard it is to keep a relationship with someone when you know exactly what they think of you? Impossible. It's impossible. Or at least that's what Troye thinks, considering he's given up on even trying to make it work. He's different, people shun different. People hate different. And it's better to go under the radar, to be nothing, than to be hated. Right? Tyler, on the other hand, has taken a different approach to a similar problem. No, he can't 'read minds', but he does have a part of himself he doesn't want a soul to know about. He's quarterback, every girl's dream guy, an academic mastermind, and he's also gay. He's seen how different kids get treated, hell, he's been the one to treat them that way before. Why on Earth would he ever wish that on himself? No, it's easier to hide, to be someone you're not, than to be hated. Right?

It's just too easy to expect that self-proclaimed homophobes (like Troye Sivan) and a homosexuals themselves (like Tyler Oakley) could never get along. Not even mindless vengeful plans or diabolic fake babies or constant mockery or accidental not-dates or attempts to make each other's lives a living hell could force a decent acquaintanceship upon them, much less was there a chance that they'd develop weird yet genuine relationships and feelings that definitely crosses the border of friendship. It would definitely take a million wishes and miracles just for them to like each other. ..right? Entirety of story is fictional; characters are real life people.
