Katniss Everdeen lives with her mother and sister, her father had tragically died in a mine accident which left them bankrupt and her mother needs to always work every shift she can get. Peeta Mellark is Katniss's best friend and has been there from the start, when Peeta takes Katniss to Prom they do a little bit more than dancing.

This takes place in district 13 after Katniss was rescued from the arena but there's a twist to this story, shes survived while being seven months pregnant. Peeta has still been captured but I don't really make him hijacked in this story.

It's been months since the rebellion and Katniss is still trying to mend herself. She feels alone and on the break of no longer living. That is until a familiar face slowly brings her back and she learns that life isn't always cruel, her world, is changing for the better.

A story on the years from the epilogue, starting on christmas day, can Peeta and Katniss live their lives in peace with their children- or will their memories overrun their lives?
