This story is based on the Superior Spider-Man comics except instead of a brain switch like Ock did with Spider-Man it was an Akuma change in which Michael Troy better known as Shadow Spider got Akumatized during a mission with Ladybug and their team and when he became Akumatized he turned into a very powerful villain that destroyed everything in his path and it took everyone to take him down and once he was free of the Akuma, the damage was done and his team turn their backs on him as well as Ladybug because of what Michael became and tried to make them see that he wasn't a threat but sadly everyone didn't believe him and for that Michael was avoided by the heroes of Paris and told him to never bother them. Michael blamed Hawk Moth for what he has done to him and after the villain was defeated in hoping things will go back to the way they were but sadly it didn't everyone still thinks that Shadow Spider is a threat and for that Michael felt betrayed and not just in costume but also in civilian form when Lila Rossi spread lies about him and everyone turned against him and was shun by many even Marinette Dupain Cheng who was his girlfriend but broke off her relationship with him and it left Michael broken. The only ones who stood by him were his kwami Spring and Monk who is one of the guardians of the miraculous and felt bad for the holder and decided to offer him something that could no only help him but also give him a new life in a whole new world where he doesn't feel so neglected and abandoned.

He gently placed a hand on my cheek deepening the kiss slightly and I locked both of my hands behind his neck before we both pulled away. Breathlessly we stared at each other for a couple of seconds before Peter broke the silence. "I've waited so long to kiss you" He said smiling at me making me blush even more. "Shut up loser" I said looking away from him.
