Out of necessity, Hawks seems to notice Iida's presence. "I've been good, thanks." He doesn't bother to return the polite gesture and ask how Iida or Chloe is. Instead, he continues, "So, you two are out doing some grocery shopping? Still roommates, I see." In the back of Chloe's mind, she realizes that Hawks' head is tilted up to look at Iida. The disparity in their heights is appalling. When she and Hawks were together, she never minded that he was 5'4, but seeing him next to Iida's tall, broad figure is a different story. "Yes, still roommates," Iida repeats, nodding. Chloe suddenly feels her heart stir. She's compelled to clarify, "We're together. We have been for a while now, actually." When Hawks blindsides Chloe by cheating on her three years into their relationship, her best friend Iida is there to pick up the pieces. She slowly realizes that the right man for her had been supporting her from the sidelines all along. But unbeknownst to the happy couple, Hawks has been stalking Chloe. This fairytale romance may not end with a happily ever after.

Sydney lives in a city where those accused of corruption have started to fall at the hands of a notorious serial killer, the Magician. An unfortunate chance encounter causes him to take an interest in her for an evening.

Said man is extremely fit; his shoulders are broad and the hard lines of his body emphasize his muscles. He must train a lot, Phantom thinks. Reaching down to grab his water bottle, he chugs it down before spraying the last bit of it onto his head. The droplets fall from his hair and travel down his abs, dampening his deep blue Hawaiian print swim trunks. Somewhere in his muddled brain, Phantom acknowledges that the tacky shorts look good on him. He quickly looks away when he realizes that he's staring. Clearing his throat although no one is around to hear him, he pointedly fixes his gaze on a family giggling in the water. He tries very hard not to think about the other man's clearly defined cake. Phantom is just a lifeguard trying to earn his way through university. Bokuto is a hottie playing beach volleyball that he can't stop staring at (even though he should be staring at the water). When they meet, Phantom learns that there's one thing bigger than Bokuto's muscles: his heart.

Then EJ realizes what's happening. "I can't believe it," he sighs. Turning to Bakugo, he tries to speak as civilly as possible. "Did your friends also tell you to meet them at the haunted house?" Bakugo doesn't answer his question, but he seems to understand anyway. Small explosions burst from his open palms again as he curses. "Those idiots set us up." On their day off, three Shiketsu students visit U.A.'s school festival. EJ always thought his soulmate would be rude and condescending. It turns out he's only partly right.

She shuffles on her feet in front of the mahogany double doors. When they open, she puts on her best customer service voice and hopes for a generous tip. "Here's your chicken pizza-" Chloe cuts herself off when she meets the gaze of the man standing in front of her. Part-time pizza delivery girl and full-time hero sidekick Chloe struggles to balance her two very different jobs. This is the story of when worlds collide.

He stands behind her, freshly changed into his red jersey. It's quite evident with this particular uniform that Kuroo's an athlete, legs hardened with the muscle needed to make up his blocks. Carmen swallows and mumbles, "I told you to stop calling me that." While the two of them place the volleyball pole into the ground, Kuroo smirks. "What? And give up on what was probably the best username of all time? Absolutely not." In other words, Carmen navigates through another day at Nekoma High while trying to confess to her best friend and long-time crush, Kuroo.
