An alternate story behind the relationship between Monty and Winston in Seasons 3 and 4 of Netflix's "13 Reasons Why". In this story, Monty never dies and you'll get to explore the scenes they never showed, but wish they would have. This story visits the missed opportunity that Netflix had to showcase a struggling teenager who didn't fit normal stereotypes of a gay kid, realizing and coming to terms (albeit slowly) with his sexuality.

Monty never let anyone love him or let himself love anyone. Partially because he lied to all his friends and even himself, partially because he wouldn't want to bring anyone into his home life. He's violent, angry, and confused. He's done so much wrong, but with the right person can he do right? Winston is your average gay, rich, teen. He get what he wants and is very unapologetic about it. His life takes a turn when he meets Monty. Can he help Monty become better? A reimagining of 13 reasons why season 3 and 4 based on these two.

How different life would have been for Monty if he had met Winston earlier? This story gives a happy ending to a troubled kid who experienced nothing but violence all his life, and the only one that could see the good side of him arrived too late. [Right now I'm updating phase 1 & 2 the story, mostly the grammar. But in my version the sexual assault he did to Tyler never happened, Bryce Walker never died and therefore Ani and Clay didn't investigate it. Instead, Monty "only" mocked and bullied others and end up in fights. He still threatened his fellow students to shut them down in court. Bryce did transfer to Hillcrest. The fight at the homecoming game happened but Bryce didn't hurt Zach. He and Monty had a fight though, because Monty felt betrayed after Bryce lack of gratitude for what he had done for him and for Bryce ending their friendship. My story begins at the scene where Monty tried to threaten Bryce after the game, where he also met Winston. Who drinks, and takes his angry and every bad life decision out on his son. Monty the classic jock straight guy. The one who plays football and basketball. Sleeps around with hot girl makes fun of kids. Has a 1.4 average and would rather break rules than follow them. But underneath all of the pain and walls. Was a boy who was hurt and had internalized homophobia. Because he grew up thinking that it made him a freak. But I wanted to change that because he is worth saving. I don't how or when but I do know I wanna help show him he's worth it. Because I some how fell In love with him a guy who won't love. And doesn't think he's worth loving. The only people he had were Bryce and his teammates but after Tyler told Bryce what he did to him, he lost him, because he couldn't own up to what he did. But before the death of his former brother and former best friend, he met a guy from hillcrest named Winston, and from the first moment they've met, they immediately hit it off! but afterwards he was ashamed about anyone finding out his sexuality so he beats the shit out of him, then 8 months later, they reunited when Bryce was killed and end up spending the weekend together but three weeks later Monty is arrested for sexual assaulting Tyler Down, it leads to Monty and Winston separating but they come back stronger but they come back stronger (in my version Monty doesn't die) Quick information before reading; Their will be profanity, sexual Content, and violence. Also; Monty and Winston might be slightly out of character but I'll try to keep them in their characters as much as I can!

For everyone who wishes there was more of Wonty in 13rw. This carries on from when Monty and Winston sleep together at the end of season 3. Monty does not go to prison in this story.
