Then, Malia and Mal, as well as their friends Evie (daughter of Evil Queen), Hallie (daughter of Captain Hook), Carlos (son of Cruella De Ville), and Jay (son of Jafar) get a chance by Prince Ben to live in Auradon, which Malia isn't happy about when she gets the news. You've all heard my story, how I defeated my mother and saved all of Auradon, but you don't know the real story. But before I tell you what really happend, let me clarify a few things. First, my hair isn't natrually purple, I don't know how that rumor got started, but for the record, my hair is natrually blonde. My real name is Maleficent Bertha Farae, not Mal Bertha. It gets on my nerves when someone calls me Mal Bertha. Also, my friends and I do not randomly break into song. So don't expect song sequences in this book. Also, I have a half-brother.
