Lisa thought it would be funny to welcome her childhood friend Jennie with a kiss when they finally saw each other again after so many years. Just a playful gesture, she told herself-a kiss Jennie actually owed her from way back, and Lisa just wanted to surprise her. What she didn't expect was for her little joke to completely backfire. Because now, instead of just seeing Jennie as the same childhood friend she grew up with, Lisa can't stop thinking about her in a completely different way. Thoughts she probably shouldn't be having. Thoughts that feel a little too intense... and maybe even a little dangerous. _________________________________________ Thanks so much for the support as always-I really appreciate everything, from the votes to the kind comments. It means a lot and helps keep me motivated to keep writing. Honestly, when I see negative comments, it makes me feel like giving up. Writing isn't easy, and we don't get paid for it-it's all just free for everyone to read. I'm just sharing my imagination and ideas with those who enjoy it, so please go easy on the negativity. ⚠Lisa G!P⚠

One, two, three, four. One, two, three, four. One, two, three, four. One, two, three, four. One, two, three, f-" "Why do you always stop at four?" "I like the number two and four is a multiple of the number 2," "Then why don't you just stop at two?" "Because we have ten fingers," "So?" "If I stop at 2, my count will stop in one round. It has to be two rounds." "You're weird..." "..." "I like you, let's be friends!" Lisa is someone who struggles with autism, which has deeply affected her ability to connect with others. Due to her condition, Lisa has never experienced the feeling of being loved, leaving her unable to trust anyone apart from herself. At the age of 18, Lisa decided to leave her family and run away to Korea. Only her grandmother's personal assistant was aware of her plans and helped her leave. Lisa has remained under the radar for almost two years, avoiding building relationships with others. However, everything changed when Lisa met Jennie, a social butterfly well-known for her beauty and friendly personality. Jennie has a harmonious family and a large group of friends, making it difficult for her to understand what it's like to be alone. She trusts others easily and believes that everyone has good intentions. It was on Jennie's first day of college that she met Lisa, who was the complete opposite of her. Intrigued by Lisa's aloofness, Jennie decided to try to get her attention simply because Lisa was different from her other friends. Will Jennie and Lisa be able to fill each other's shortcomings and form a meaningful relationship?

Jennie Kim is a no-nonsense, high-powered CEO of a luxury lifestyle brand. Known for her icy demeanor and impeccable standards, she runs her company with precision and commands respect from everyone around her. Her employees admire her brilliance but tiptoe around her temper-except for her newly hired personal assistant, Lisa Manoban. Lisa is everything Jennie's usual assistants aren't: she's casual, cheerful, and sometimes a little too comfortable breaking Jennie's strict rules. Initially, Jennie is annoyed by Lisa's unconventional approach, especially when Lisa insists on bringing her "relaxing tea" instead of coffee or suggesting ridiculous ideas during meetings just to "lighten the mood." Despite her exasperation, Jennie can't deny that Lisa is oddly efficient, always managing to get things done in her own chaotic way. As the days pass, Jennie starts to feel something she hasn't felt in years-she enjoys Lisa's company. But Jennie's growing possessiveness becomes evident when Lisa's charm attracts attention from coworkers and clients alike. Jennie finds herself in situations where she has to remind others-and herself-that Lisa is her assistant, and no one else has the right to monopolize her time.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hello readers! Given recent industry announcements, I want to be unequivocal: this is a fictional story. The "Jen" and "Lisa" and many others name in this tale are characters I've created for a narrative. They are not representations of the real-life idols. This is written for entertainment within the fan community. Thank you for understanding! Now, onto the story... IN HER DEFENCE Introduction Jennie Kim didn't believe in softness. Not in the courtroom, not in the office, not in herself. She was Seoul's most respected litigator by thirty, feared more than she was admired. Her heels never clicked twice down the same hallway, and her silence in a meeting could kill a career faster than a lost case. She didn't yell. She didn't plead. She simply looked - and people moved. The only thing she had less time for than inefficiency was idealism. So when her managing partner assigned her a final-year intern from Korea University - bright-eyed, book-taught, and ten minutes early for everything - Jennie barely looked up from her deposition notes. "Don't ask questions unless you already know the answers," she said without turning. "And don't try to impress me. I'm not here to be impressed." Lisa Manoban nodded once. Soft voice, steady gaze. "I'm not here to impress you," she said. "I'm here to learn." That was the first time Jennie looked at her - really looked. She wasn't loud, or eager, or trying too hard. She was just... still. Soft in a way Jennie didn't trust. The kind of softness that didn't bend to survive - it stayed, and waited, and watched. Jennie dismissed her with a nod, already forgetting the name. But something about the girl lingered long after she left the room. Like the quiet echo of a truth Jennie didn't want to hear.
