Journal Entry ~ March 4th 2018 The woman has bewitched me, she's been sent as punishment from some twisted higher power to break me down to nothing but brittle foundations. There was nothing human left, lost years ago to the interminable darkness yet the moment she arrived something roused deep within me. It started as the smallest of embers and much to my vexation with each smile and every softly spoken word the ember gathers in potency and vigour. I can't let her spread through my darkness like the most beguiling of wildfires. I'm a monster, she can't change that.
