Alfred always had magic inside him, it was apparent for a long time. He had a close connection with animals, he felt things differently than most. He was different. But when when England began to leave more and more, his magic faded away. That's what he thought at least, when strange memories from his childhood begin to resurface that aren't like he remembered and strange things keep happenings to him that cause him to believe otherwise.

America always had to be the centre of attention, be his cocky self, he needed to stand out - Russia was trapped in their science class once a fire broke out, and America, as attention seeking as he is, tries playing hero. The governments failed. The new generation has taken over. Everything was failing - from the economy to overpopulation. The world split into two sides; The Freedom activists and the Restoration. The Restoration, which was half of the world, decided that it was the people's fault that the world ended up that way - so, they came to the conclusion that keeping the rich alive was the only way, and killing the poor and homeless as a result. The Freedom activists, however, rescued those about to be killed. America, the leader of the FA, however, found out there was a third party. "Is that.. a bear?" "No, this is vodka. Growing up in a post-apocalypse environment was tough for everyone - especially America, who had lost everyone. Except for, of course, his Border Collie, Oreo. America travels often with Oreo, and has come across few other countries. Even fewer became friends. And one who became someone special.

In an attempt to get the two bickering countries to get along, Alfred and Ivan must spend one month together in one of Alfreds homes. In a house set back into the woods, these two countries are going to grow closer together and learn more about eachother then anyone else has before. Even a few things that they never wanted the other to find out. *Warning* Depressed America. Suicidal thoughts. Suicide attempt. Vulgar language. Maybe smut? We'll have to see where this goes.
