"A new twist on time travel dystopia." "On edge of seat till 2am. Mindblowing." "There is nothing same-old about this story." I can see the future. But I can't stop the apocalypse. Each time I slip into the future, I bring back more proof. Humanity is on the brink of a genetically-engineered apocalypse. +Bodies rotting in the streets. +Wilderness eating away at my hometown. +Zombies hunting down the few survivors. I'm the only one who can stop it. All I need to do is kill the man who will destroy the world. The father of my high-school crush. Before he figures out I'm on to him. And time's running out. "A Netflix series-worthy tale that doesn't let up - this crazy ride is full of twists and turns while remaining understandable and relatable. I can't wait for book two!" "Smart, thorough and entertaining. The storyline driven characters draw you in and you don't want it to end."

It is the year 2881. After a nuclear war that killed nearly 70% of the human population, society has rebuilt itself and is now seperated into two classes. The Uppers, with a genetic mutation caused by the radiation, have supernatural powers and live easy lives as members of the elite. The Lessers, however, are regular human beings with regular DNA. They do not have powers, and are forced to serve the Uppers. Lessers not in captivity serving the Upper Society are on the run, forming rebel camps. Alessandra may be an Upper, but her life isn't as perfect as it may seem to be. She is sent to the government facility, where they strip her of her freedom and force her to work for them. But one of the Lesser boys locked in the laboratories, used as a lab rat for government experiments, is the same boy that she had encountered years before. The same boy whose life she had saved, hiding him in her shed while the guards searched for him. Will something spark between them? Will he return the favor, and save her life in return? Will they be able to escape and find out what secrets the government is hiding?
