Ashlyn Wainwright is a peculiar with an odd combination of peculiarities: She's hallucikinetic, cardiokinetic, and amokinetic. In summary, she can find out what people love and fear and conjure images of it. When her old loop gets attacked, she is saved by Miss. Peregrine. Ashlyn struggles with controlling her powers, as often while she creates images of what people love it turns into what people fear. She is advised to become more stable and secure in herself. To do that, she needs support. She accidentally becomes good friends with the local dead-riser, more commonly known as Enoch O' Connor. Or, maybe it's more than friends? __________________ A Miss. *SEQUEL TO PIGMENT* The world never stops turning. A story may end, but that doesn't mean the life of a character suddenly disappears. I'm still here in Devil's Acre of all places, and it appears that our internal clocks have been reset. Miss Peregrine did say we earned a vacation, and where else could we go, other than sunny Florida? Now we all must decide where our loyalties lie, and opinions among friends differ. Hopefully this won't cleave people apart, especially as we meet new and old friends along the way. This definitely isn't the twentieth century anymore! What did I think about my life? It's cool, it's great, and I loved living in a tiny house with no air conditioning in London with my very sweet, very sarcastic cousin. Why would you ask? I mean, sure everyone kept saying, "1972 is your year, (Y/N)!" But I didn't believe it until recently. I had began to get these strange powers. I was a magical Crayon with the weird ability to change the color of anything I chose. I needed to figure out how to control it, or find someone who could teach me. A strange feeling told me to go to Cairnholm, a tiny little area in Wales, and I had nothing better to do. So, now I was off to get weird diseases, find out more about this 'chromokinesis' stuff and maybe fall in love. Didn't matter what order, as long as I had fun on the way, right? Right?? "So what's it like, Paris? The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame de Paris, French Riviera, Arc de Triomphe, what's it like, being in the centre of it all?" "She can't understand you, Fat-head." "A Fat-head is a 'stupid or foolish person,' I think we all know that I am not a Fat-head, quite the opposite actually." Pascale Bellamy was born with tiny holes, just beneath her fingernails. They never bled, or pained her, for the first few years of the girls life, they went completely unnoticed. As she got older, her body began to react differently and more severely to lack of water consumption: her skin would dry up, and she would become terribly sick. One, peculiar day, just before her sixteenth birthday, water began to spew from the holes in Pascale's fingers, sometimes like a hoes, and sometimes in the form of a bubble, as if there was no gravity. No more then a week later, a old women showed up at her door, and claimed that Pascale was 'Peculiar.' Millard Nullings: the invisible scholar. He spent his days among other Peculiar children of Miss. Peregrine's loop, reliving the same day, over and over, September 3, 1940. He was happy, and content, examining the people of Cairnholm, and memorizing their every move. One peculiar day, a strange girl shows up, looking scared, her skin abnormally dry, and only speaking a few words in English, a girl, with tiny holes, just beneath her fingernails. [ "can't stop falling for me can you?" ] "So Uhm what's your peculiarly?" Prim asked, breaking the somewhat awkard silence between the two peculiars. "Bees." Hugh sighed "it's not that interesting" letting a bee out of his mouth as he spoke. The small creature landed on prim's finger making her giggle. "Well I think it's beautiful, does this little guy have a name?" "Henry" "So what about you?" Hugh said, the little bee flying back to him "telekinesis." Prim mumbled, it was a touchy subject "woah that's so cool" "not when you can't control it" prim sighed picking some grass and twirling it around her finger, this fact wasn't something she was proud of. She had tried for so long with miss dove to work on her peculiarity but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't. She couldn't do it on will like others, it was like prims peculiarity had a mind of its own and to be completely honest, it scared her. So she just shut it out, she hadn't even shared this much with some people she had known for longer than Hugh, but for some reason she felt comfortable with him, they already had a bond somehow. after that the two children continued their small talk with no more mention of peculiarities as Hugh realised she clearly didn't want to talk about it, bees occasionally flew around them, but primrose didn't mind as suddenly, it wasn't awkard anymore.
