Leaving wasn't an easy decision. Leaving Bellamy was just as hard. But Clarke knew it was in everyone's best interest for her to part ways with her group. She couldn't bare to let the people she hurt see her sorrowful face everyday. To them, her face was someone they had loss. It was a reminder of all the dreadful times they had endured. Of all the people that had sacrificed themselves to keep this group alive. No one wanted to be reminded of those times everyday of their lives. So she left. And the first to know was Bellamy. He could have stopped her, but even he knew the weight that bared down on her tired shoulders. Clarke had once fallen into a trap in which Bellamy had caught her, saving her life. And it seems that ever since then, he's been holding on tightly to her. As if she were his heartbeat. As if he couldn't live without her. But when Clarke decided to leave, he knew what had to be done. He knew he had to let go, and when he did, his heart was ripped from his chest. Bellamy Blake is now a soulless body, wandering around the world without morals. He's alive, but he's not living. And Clarke isn't any better.
