Between the mystery of Peter Parker (the coffee boy who keeps showing up at her job), the unreliability of her own memories, and the stress of her school life, MJ doesn't quite know how to feel. But she's always loved a good mystery, and Peter Parker certainly is one.

After, what Tony Stark thought was going to be, a normal and boring mission, the Avengers find something unexpected at a HYDRA base. Or rather, someONE unexpected. Traumatized and abused, 14 year old Peter Parker is taken back to the compound where Tony Stark tries to get him to feel safe and protected again. But most importantly, to get him to talk.
