When an injured Wolf shows up on his doorstep, half dead and desperate for protection, gentle giant Monty naturally wants to help. Unfortunately, the Wolf is Kit Mortaine, and he belongs to a dangerous rival Pack. Fleeing his own family, Kit seeks asylum with Monty's brother's Pack, but the Hunters have learned the hard way not to trust Mortaines. Their female alpha, Selene, was once betrothed to Monty's brother, Dane, and she still hasn't forgiven him for Choosing someone else. Given the chance, she'd gladly restart the war their arranged union was meant to end for good. Dane is reluctant to grant Kit's request, but Pack law says asylum must be given unless a Pack rejects the seeker as one. Turning his back on someone in need isn't something Monty can do, so Dane allows Kit to stay, as long as Monty agrees to be his bodyguard. After his last job ended in tragedy, Monty vowed he'd never be responsible for someone else's life again, but something about Kit makes it impossible to refuse. The more time he spends with the young Wolf, however, the more Monty understands: he can't guard Kit and his own heart at once, and he may very well lose both. - - - This books is part of the HEART'S DESIRE series, but can be read as a standalone. Deeply hurt by a lover's betrayal, Noah Hunter leaves a shattered life behind and moves to Spring Lakes to join his brother's pack. All he wants is a quiet place and some time to heal. Fate has other ideas. In the middle of the night, on a lonely stretch of road, Noah hits a dog. When he brings the injured animal to a veterinarian, he crosses paths with the singular, mysterious, and aggravatingly handsome Ambrose Thorne. When, after learning that Noah needs a place to stay, Ambrose invites him to his home, Noah thinks he may have found just the sort of peace and space he needs, and the last thing he expects is to become entangled in the heart of a mystery. While helping his brother Dane on a case involving a string of inexplicable thefts, Noah soon discovers that his new acquaintance is more than he seems and is inextricably tied to the strange burglaries. As the case becomes complicated by occult rituals, murder, and mythical beasts, Noah finds himself in more than one kind of danger - because while he doubts that anyone would want something so broken and torn, it seems like his heart might get stolen, too. He just hopes that the one who steals it and the thief at the heart of the mystery are not one and the same. ----- WARNINGS: This story contains strong language, some violence, and sex. ----- DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fiction. Book Two of the Haunted Lover's Duo. "The paradox of vengefulness is that it makes men dependent upon those who have harmed them, believing that their release from pain will come only when they make their tormentors suffer. In seeking the Bird's death to free himself, Louie had chained himself, once again, to his tyrant. During the war, the Bird had been unwilling to let go of Louie; after the war, Louie was unable to let go of the Bird." -Laura Hillenbrand, Unbroken: A World War Two Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption. In the wake of Malcolm's death, Slate attempts a shot at normality. He tries to cope, and hopes staying close to Eden will aid him in retaining his sanity. However, there just doesn't seem to be anything going right, and the hole that Malcolm left in his chest just isn't helping. He's falling, and he knows soon he'll hit the ground. He'll crash. During a raging storm, Slate finds the one light that might actually keep him going. The one light to guide him through the darkness of his life, to bring him back from the brink, and maybe even to finally forge some beauty worth living for. A nymph, half-dead in the middle of the road, so close to the end himself but somehow able to shift Slate's entire world into another dimension. A clearer one. One that he may just survive in.

Book One of the Haunted Lover's Duo "People in the real world always say, when something terrible happens, that the sadness and loss and aching pain of the heart will 'lessen as time passes', but it isn't true. Sorrow and loss are constant, but if we all had to go through our whole lives carrying them the whole time, we wouldn't be able to stand it. The sadness would paralyze us. So in the end we just pack it into bags and find somewhere to leave it." - Fredrik Backman, My Grandmother asked me to tell you she's Sorry. Still wrought with grief from the loss of his older brother, Eden Moir seeks out Malcolm Reed, the best SN lawyer currently working in the surface world. His intentions are mere justice for his brother, who was wrongfully murdered by hunters. Eden has been juggling work and home life, or more like drowning in it, and is in a constant struggle with the tight budget that is being washed away by his mother's drinking problem. Yet, Eden yearns for more as he gets to know Malcolm. He desires for the witch to be more than his lawyer, despite how detrimental it could be for his brother's case. Love is worth the risk, after all, right? Sadly, Malcolm might not see things the same way, looking at the bigger picture, not wanting to cost those around him the career he has built all for his own selfish wishes. But, in the end, there is something far worse at play, lurking beneath the shadows, waiting for the right moment to pounce... waiting for the right opportunity to dredge up the agony within Eden's heart once again.

Growing up in chaos isn't simple for all. Not many could cope. They would struggle and kick, but ultimately drown. However, for Dakota, that was his normality. Torturing. Maiming. Killing. That was his life, the life of a hunter. The Arizona line was elusive, written fame in the lore of hunters, and infamy for their prey. They were the best. No one could ever compare to their skills, their abilities, their ruthlessness. But Dakota was something else. His siblings might have learnt to enjoy the hunt, well most of them anyway, but Dakota didn't. There was always something missing for him, something he was waiting on. Silent and everlasting hope. A promise had been made to him, the day his twin brother was stolen, taken by the enemy, plucked right from the very home the Arizonas had grown up in. A promise of something better, something that he might actually want in his life. Now, almost sixteen years later, something was coming. A change was begging to be found. Maybe it would be for the best. Maybe Dakota would finally find that certain something that had been missing his whole life, something to fill the dark and fractured abyss that ached and wailed within. But nothing was ever that simple. Because, of course, the promise that had been made to Dakota would never be anything plausible for him, anything tangible to have and to hold. He had been promised a new life, by the greatest enemy of them all. It wouldn't be easy. Not with his family still clinging to his heels, the teachings of blood and violence burnt into his mind. No, leaving them behind wouldn't ever be easy. Then again, staying with them would only bring his inevitable death. Why not take the chance to die happy? After all, out of the ashes, a phoenix will rise...

"You're really pissing me off, Iggy, so I'm gonna give you two options. Either walk away or keep fucking provoking me and watch what happens," Ignatius' bottom lip caught between his teeth, Enlil's hot breath tickling his ear as the sylph leant in awfully close. One option was far more appealing than the other, though the other was far more practical. "Why would I walk away now, daddy?" Ignatius felt Enlil's arousal pressing against his clothed ass, making his own hardening cock twitch with anticipation. Was he really going through with it? He doubted it would just be a blowjob that time, he could still back out, Enlil wouldn't be mad. "I'd watch what you say next, princess, don't go giving me the wrong idea," Enlil spoke in a much softer voice, resting his hand on the wall to the left of Ignatius' head, his lips so close to the phoenix's ear they just grazed against the skin. Ignatius hesitated, guilty thoughts rushing into his mind, each one dissolving as Ignatius focused on how well his back fit into Enlil's chest. "Please," Ignatius whispered, sliding his hand up the wall to cover Enlil's, "please, daddy," Ignatius suddenly felt very vulnerable, fearful that Enlil would reject his advances. "Please what, princess? Tell daddy what you want," Enlil pressed his lips to the crook of Ignatius' neck, running his tongue over the curvature of his skin, coaxing a hushed moan from the phoenix. God, who had been kidding? How could he have ever resisted Enlil when he spoke to him like that? "You," Ignatius breathed, bringing Enlil's hand down to rest upon his throat, "I want you, daddy, all of you," Ignatius' breath caught in his throat as Enlil applied a hell of a lot more pressure than he had done before, no longer increasing it at a gradual pace. "It's about goddamn time, princess..." {Book Three of the Inamorate Series}

"You like it, baby?" Ambrose purred in Kyree's ear, "I picked the colour out just for you, remembered just how much you like it on me," Kyree groaned as Ambrose caught his earlobe between his teeth, biting down hard enough that he knew there would be a mark. "Out," Kyree demanded the tailor, pleased with how fast the little man scuttled from the room. The second Kyree heard the door click shut, he pressed Ambrose against the wall to the left of them, covering the demon's mouth with his own. Ambrose complied with a soft moan and a tug of Kyree's hair, his other hand clutching the lapel of Kyree's suit, as if holding himself up for fear his knees may buckle. Kyree's mouth trailed down Ambrose's neck, leaving one deep purple bruise after another across his demon's tanned skin. Ambrose's mewls and purrs were loud, then again, Ambrose always was loud, he knew it turned Kyree on. Kyree was marking his lover, knowing that all eyes would be on them tonight, he wanted everyone to know what was his. "Mine," he murmured against Ambrose's abused flesh, nipping at the place just below his lover's jaw, marvelling in the primal groan that resonated through him. "Yours," Ambrose agreed, his chest heaving as his breath got taken from him by another quick nip across his throat from Kyree, "forever, baby," Kyree took a step back, admiring the myriad of mauve marks littered across Ambrose's throat. Purple was Kyree's favourite colour on Ambrose... {Book One of the Inamorate Series} This book is dedicated to my editor, illustrator and best friend Daisy for always being there for me and putting up with my shit. {Credit to her also for the cover art and all illustrations throughout}.
