But... neither one of them knew so they continued working together not knowing whether the other girl loved them or not. After leaving for the last time, Emily goes to live where she once hid, Paris. But she did it to save herself from falling even deeper in love with JJ because if she didn't , she wouldn't be able to control her feelings anymore. JJ had loved Emily from the first time they locked eyes after the Tobias Hankel case. But she kept it a secret forever until it was too late. But maybe in another life they would find each other again and finally tell each other how they felt. Maybe another life, maybe another town, just... maybe. *completed*
