Tom lived most of his life with edd and Matt till his old crush, Tord came and destroyed their home. Tom started getting depressed and isolated himself from everyone around him including edd and Matt. While his depression Tom became a bad alcoholic, and would not eat but only drink. One day Tom found Tord sitting all alone crying on the sidewalk, on the same day Matt and edd started talking to Tom again, not aware of his depression, soon they all find out at the same time.. Will they help Tom? (Btw this book contains some 13+ stuff and Tom x Tord... duh... also it also contains edd being jelly of Tord for taking Tom, but there will be eddmatt later... so ye)

(oof) Tom is a normal guy hanging with his normal friends. At least, that's what he wants them to believe. Due to his "unique" appearance, he was tested on after his parents died. Unfortunately, one of those tests failed miserably, and now Tom is stuck with a horrid demon in his body, one that only activates if he is afraid. Not being afraid is hard, especially for him. Even though he's gotten better at controlling his fears, he worries for Edd and Matt when they fight. He knows it's because of him. Edd has been more abusive and furious with Tom with each passing day. And it's hard not being afraid when Tord joins the picture. As his childhood bully, it isn't hard to not have fears about him. Tord doesn't use his giant robot to take over the world and lives with Edd,Matt,and Tom again. But Tom and Tord fight constantly even though secretly they don't fully hate each other.
