A breaking point is at which physical, mental, or emotional strength gives way under stress. Everyone has a breaking and beyond the breaking point is something extreme. A point is where something ends. Is that the reason why they use a point or a period to conclude or end a sentence? But, some sentences are continued by another one only it extends a thought or changes a subject. Does that mean after a breaking point, you change? A point does not officially end things, it just states that the topic or idea is over and its time to start anew. After every point is something way beyond, there is still a future after the words "The End".
