Set after the end of season 2, in an alternate universe. --- Valt has won the tournament, but he still has a long way to go before he can bring Shu back. Ashtem has put the red-eyed Blader into a coma, trapping him in his own mind with no way to escape. At least, there's no way to escape on his own... To wake Shu from his coma, the members of the Beigoma Academy Bey Club must join their friend in his subconscious world and help him escape. But recent events, like becoming one with Spryzen Requiem and his losses to Free and Lui have warped the young Blader's mind. The world Ashtem has him trapped in is one constructed with Shu Kurenai's worst fears, filled with dark monsters that share the agenda of the Snake Pit's leader. To make things worse, Ashtem even has a trick up his sleeve that may keep Shu trapped in his own mind forever...
