When the serial killer who everyone thought died during Hurricane Katrina is now killing again, they call in the BAU from Quantico, Virginia to come and help with the murders. While she is helping her older brother with this case, and new killer is around, and she asks for the help of the team to catch the killer. When the team sees her abilities and how smart she is, they recruit her for the BAU.

Spencer Reid and Maddy Schofield meet when Maddy joined the BAU. They are both geniuses, Spencer with an IQ of 187 and Maddy's at 188, just a point over. They instantly have a connection and eventually end up with a relationship. They've both been through their fair share of hardships in life. It gets even harder when Maddy and Spencer get kidnapped when her dad escapes from jail, out for blood. Will the relationship survive? Will they survive? She finally finds happiness with her boyfriend Alan but when she gets her dream job working with the BAU team will her boyfriend be happy about her new job. And how will Alannah feel when she begins to develop feelings for Dr. Spencer Reid, a fellow FBI agent. How will Alannah cope with conflicting feelings and reliving her tragic past everyday at work. (I hope anyone who reads it will enjoy it and I beg for feedback. There will be some parts that may be disturbing and personal but it's not meant to cause offense to anyone. If it does offend I am really sorry. Also if any of the facts are wrong I'm sorry, crime writing isn't my area, I rather love and drama but I really wanted to try and write a Criminal Minds story.)
