These are my thoughts on some philosophical issues that are pertinent to Science Fiction in particular and many other genres as well. This is not a rant. There are some really fine rant authors out there on Wattpad. The ones I like are: @mrcharizard15. His 'The Book of Random Stuff' and 'A Teenager's Rants' are especially interesting and very current. Another excellent writer in this genre is awesomesauce82. His 'Rants 'n stuff is worth checking out, as are many of his stories: Game Over, Smile for me, and 'Herobrine: Takeover' to name a few are really good reads of his.

Are you ready for the Squirrelpocalpse? Do you know the dangers of suburban gardening? It's one neighborhood against nature's furry Robin Hoods in this tale of rodenticide and remorse. Excerpt from Chapter 1 - Tulips and Destruction: She told me again how beautiful my roses were and then looked me over in a strange way, as if she were sizing up my character or trustworthiness, or something. Then, apparently satisfied, she leaned in and asked a question in a conspiratorial tone. "So, what kind of rodent... activity do we have around the neighborhood?" The question took me back a bit. I was under the impression that she was going to proposition me, or ask me where she could buy pot, or something like that. "Rodents? You mean, like..." She stepped a bit closer. She smelled flowery with a hint of, what was it? Spearmint. Her eyes were big when she looked up into mine. "Rodents." She said slowly, "you know, gophers, rats, mice-" Her eyes involuntarily moved away from me, scanned my yard, and narrowed. "Squirrels." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ thanks for taking a look. i appreciate all feedback, stars, and follows. if you like this, check out my other (complete) stories: safari-land, dungeon memos, and a very short story about love.

"I've been living an illusion. And I don't mean that in the usual soap-opera-y way most people do when they say something as dramatic as 'I've been living an illusion.' I haven't discovered my lover's been cheating on me, or that my Dad secretly works for the FBI, or that my school is full of vampires, or anything stupid like that... I really mean it. I've been living in some real-life "Twilight Zone" bullshit. And I don't know how long I've been here- maybe my entire life. Everything I do. Everywhere I go. Everyone I talk to... All of it's suspect. All of it's part of some grand illusion. Even my girlfriend acts like she's in on it. And that sucks, because I really like my girlfriend." -Eugene X __________________________________________________________________________________ Follow struggling musician Eugene X as he descends down the most unlikely of rabbit-holes in the often-surprising "REWIND PARK." The Langfords were a normal family and no one would have expected Steph and Tony to disappear over night. Things started when their new neighbours moved in next door and invited them over to play with an Ouija Board with strange messages. At first Steph and Tony dismissed them as nonsense but soon strange stuff started to happen in their own house and Steph started to noticing something following her where ever she went and then while their parents are away things started to get worse and more aggressive. Along with their friends, Kirsty and Neil they start to witness poltergeist activity which eventually leads to their disappearance. In the end it seems that this is not new to them after all but history repeating itself. Will anyone be able to help them? ............................................................................................................................................................................................... The story was written over a period of three months and is influenced by the popular Paranormal Activity film series however this story, although has a large number of similarities, is a different story all together with different characters and set in the UK. I am currently writing part 2 which will follow up from part one and should be ready for upload in the near future.
