Everyone, no matter what species, is born with a Soulmate and have their soulmates name and species on their wrist and at the age of 16 they can be seen. For soulmates to be two different species is looked down upon. Nagisa Shiota, a merman, has to keep a big secret from his kingdom.

Karma, hates Nagisa he has always been jealous of how good he was with assassination without even really practicing. But when the two are partnered up for a month long assassination, will those feelings change? ( I am not good with the descriptions so just roll with it )

Nagisa is the ghost of his high school. Nobody has even bothered to talk to him. His mom abuses him and he has scars that he's never shown. That all changes when Karma transfers to his school.

When he transfers to class 3-E at Kunigigaoka Junior High, slowly something starts to awake in him with each assassination attempt they make on their mutant teacher, Koro-sensai and with each conversation he has with the cocky red-headed guy who sits in the back of the class. Will Nagisa's chains finally be broken? Or will he stay his mother's puppet forever?
