His Norse is cracked, and he usually speaks in the language of the dragons, Krokonja. Among the dragons, his name is Songbird the Savior, for all the good he has done. The dragons are his kin, and he will do anything to protect them, even if it means giving up his own life. So when he crashes upon a strange land, he immediately knows he has to hide Toothless from the inhabitants of the island. If you've made it this far, then congratulations!
