The young Prince felt the nausea from the previous night return as he was situated behind the executioner's stage, a pyre set with a stake in the centre. He tried his very best not to remember that Merlin would be mounted upon that very stake in moments, a fire ablaze beneath him...

While on a camping trip, Merlin was obviously exhausted as he'd been acting strange all day. As he falls asleep, Gwaine finds a small leather bound journal hidden away in the servants coat, which he soon learns is a journal. He reads a few to himself, then to the Knights. They all soon realize how sad and how seemingly alone Merlin believes he is. They all realize, just how little they know about Merlin. [Hint: The Knights and Arthur learn about Freya!]

I decided to expand on my Methur fanfic, and start their story from the very beginning. Merlin is a young warlock who somehow finds himself as the manservant to the prince of Camelot. Arthur accidentally shows his love for his servant, Merlin, after Merlin falls ill in his chambers.

Merlin is attacked and won't tell Arthur anything. Arthur likes Merlin, his hand servant for almost 2 years, it breaks his heart to see Merlin this beat up and hurt. Arthur is trying to do whatever he can to forward his relationship with Merlin, while he tries to find out and understand what happened to his brunette servant.
