When Tony and the other Avengers are kidnapped by none other than Tony's nemesis the Avengers learn much more about their teammate and friend then originally thought. This is a Tony memory reveal fic so there will be violence. This is slightly AU and my have trigger warnings later on. Disclaimer: I do not own The Avengers or its characters. After the Avengers' Civil War, Tony Stark tries to find ways to pardon his ex teammates. When he successfully does so, they are forced to live in the tower with Tony - much to his dismay. Tony doesn't want anything to do with the people he once trusted, so he avoids them completely - trying extra hard to avoid a patriotic blonde. Steve tries to make things right between him and Tony, but he is never given a chance. Steve Rogers broke the famous Tony Stark, the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. The one who supposedly only fights for himself. WARNING: self harm, depression, etc.

When all of the Avengers get roped in, somehow growing to care for the kid, it gets harder to keep a secret a secret, though... and what happens when Peter has nowhere else to turn? (Peter is an intern at Stark Industries.) Starts as mostly texts and changes to a mix of texts and regular writing for books.
