Kaminari knew he wasn't as smart as Yaomomo or Iida. Nor was he as strong as Bakugo and Todoroki. He wasn't brave like Kirishima, kind like Koda and Uraraka, or analytical like Midoriya. He wasn't the only one to think that too. The judging looks he got from students, whispering words behind his back, said it all. 'Look, it's the dumb kid from Class 1-A.' 'How did he end up in the hero course?' 'He's basically a one-shot wonder.' 'Ha! He'll be stuck being a sidekick forever. Just watch!" 'His quirk' s too dangerous! Kaminari is a member in UA in class 1-A. Most people think 'how on earth did this knucklehead get here?!' but really, Kaminari isn't as dumb as he seems, nor is he as happy as he may seem. Each night his thoughts haunt him from actually getting a good nights rest. He is afraid and so close to committing suicide. He wants people to notice him, and help him, but he realizes that he isn't even dropping hints and he knows that he won't at the same time. He is in this constant loop of what to do.
