Carl's world gets turned upside down when Yuli, a mysterious boy, washes up on the shore of his hometown. It quickly turns out that his intentions are anything but pure as he wreaks havoc upon town, bending everyone he meets according to his will and fulfilling his need for human blood. Bound to Yuli by feelings he does not understand Carl has to protect the people he loves from him as he watches the world around him descend into madness.
