Nung unang panahon nag karoon ng matinding labanan ang mga Bampira at ng Necromancer at pati na rin ng mga Vampire Slayers. Ang sanhi ng labanang ito ay ang Zhimatsui, ang nilalang na nag tataglay ng napakalakas na kapangyarihan. Ang napakalakas nitong kapangyarihan ang minimithi ng mga undead. At ang mga Vampire Slayers at mga alagad ng liwanag ang siang pumigil sa mga undead na huwag makuha ang kapangyarihan ng Zhimatsui. Isang araw, may nag taksil sa panig ng Zhimatsui at palihim niang itinakas ang Zhimatsui upang ialay sa Prinsipe ng mga Bampira. Nakuha nga ng Prinsipe ang Zhimatsui pero bago nia pa magawa ang ritwal upang makuha ang kapangyarihan ng Zhimatsui, dumating kanyang kapatid sa labas na Dhampyr at tinapos ang buhay ng Zhimatsui. Dahil sa pang yayaring yun, nag karoon ng pag kakataon ang mga vampire slayers na mahuli ang prinsipe, ngunit hindi sila nag tagumpay na maputol ang ulo ng prinsipe at masaksak ng stake sa kanyang puso dahil sadyang napakalakas nito. At ang nagawa lang nila ay ang maikulong sa isang sagradong seal ang vampire prince kaya ito ay nahimlay sa pusod ng isang Sementeryo. Ang sementeryong iyon ay ang Shizukana Cemetery na matatagpuan sa tagong Village na tinatawag din na Shizukana. Mahabang pananahon ang lumipas, halos daang taon din ang nag daan. Naging payapa ang Village. Nanatiling nakahimlay ang vampire prince. Ngunit muling isisilang ang panibagong Zhimatsui at ito ay nasa katauhan ni Kurone Kewashi na isang Gothic Girl. Palaging naka suot ng itim. Ayaw sa sinag ng araw. Napakahilig nia sa Vampires. Laging nasa sementeryo. Gustong gusto ang creepy things, Halloween at iba pang bagay na malapit sa kaanyuan ng mga undead na dapat niang layuan. Ano ang magiging epekto ng kanyang pagiging goth bilang Zhimatsui. Lalayuan nia kaya ang kanyang hilig sa oras na malaman nia ang katotohanan na sia ang Zhimatsui ? Anong gagawin nia sa oras na malaman niang nag eexist nga ang mga Bampira?
