Ok so this story happens during the S-class trials. Ok so the S-class participants fight the dark wizard zeref but he demands for only one thing that is to have Lucy and that if he gets her that he will not harm the outer world not ever. While all the other participants decline Lucy agrees in the offer and lives with zeref for her life while also falling in love with the dark wizard.
