"And what's that?" I ask taking a sip of my water. "You're happy Reid. I can see it in your eyes." I look down at my mismatched socks, blushing ever so slightly. "You're right." I say, "I am happy. I just feel so compatible." "I don't believe two people could ever be perfect for each other but, damn she's the closest fucking thing. Pardon my language. Did you know that researchers at the University of Texas asked 167 couples how long they'd known each other before dating, and on average the couples had known each other four months beforehand and around 40% were friends first. Y/N and I were friends first yeah, and we'd only known each other a couple months, but I'll never forget the first time I saw her thinking how much she'd be a part of my life. Look at me I'm rambling." I chuckle at Hotch's face in surprise. "Wow Reid, I've never heard you talk about a woman like that. She's special huh?" We look back to her and Rossi. "Yeah," She looks back and smiles, "really special." ...
